Question:Tells us more about you? When did you start having interest in motor racing?

Alexander Toril: I started driving at the age of 7. First I was doing Karting until the age of 14, in different International categories: Alevin, Cadet, and KF3. I competed in the most important Karting championships:    WSK, European Cup, World Cup, Spanish Championship etc.. After this I changed to bigger tracks and in my first year of single-seater I ran with the Formula Renault 1.6 in the Autosport Academy.

I began in motorsport because my father was a Rally driver till 10 years ago, he introduced me and my brother to the motorsport. My mom was a codriver in Rallies and she likes motorsport too. So in my family we all love gas.

I'm a person who loves sports, I love bike riding, swimming...I always want to be healthy for the races and be prepared to win. In my long motorsport life i can defend my self in 5 different languages. I love pasta, watch Top Gear on TV and airplanes.

Q: At 15 years old, you're the youngest in the Championship; how does it feel to compete with elder and more experienced competitors?

A.T. :It feels good. Being the youngest in the championship and one of the F3 youngest drivers in whole Europe too is a special motivation. I feel close to the other drivers. To compete with elder and more experienced competitors for me is an advantage, because I can learn so many things from them, and also because it gives me a lot of time to improve my everyday driving.

Q: Coming from karting, what is your first impression about driving a F308 car?

A.T. : When I changed from the karting to formulas the adaptation wasn't easy at all. There's a lot of differences between a kart and a F308. For example the introduction of the gearbox, clutch... The F308 is also a very fast car with so much power which is difficult to manage at the beginning. It feels fantastic to drive an F3 car, it fits me like a glove. I'm very happy to be able to drive the F308 this year.

Q: Why did you choose Cedars?

A.T. : I think that Cedars is a very nice team, I feel really comfortable and close to the staff, we're like a family.. Also the mechanics, my engineer... everyone is very professional and laborious. All these things and many other made me choose Cedars for this year.

Q: The pre-season tests showed that you're one of the fastest rookies on the track. how do you see your 2012 season?

A.T. : Since the beginning my objective was to learn as much as possible from my partners, Noel and Matteo, from my team, my parents... to have the best performance as a driver and as a person too. Then, if I come with good results, it will be great.

Q :How long and how did you prepare to get ready to your first season in F3?

A.T. : My formation for the F3 2012 season was quite long, I've been preparing these since last year, in every area: physically  and mentally.

Q:  How were the pre-season tests? How did you feel compared to the other more experienced pilots?

A.T. : It feels very nice and I'm really proud of my results during the pre-season test and the winter series. Fortunately the evolution is much better than the prognostics. Compared to the other drivers I can say that the level is similar and I can fight these races with them.

Q: It's your first race in F3, how do you feel before the first race?

A.T. : I'm calm because I arrived with my homework done. All that is left to do is to push it further and give it the best I can.

Q: What are your expectations for the 1st race?

A.T. : Like all the drivers i want to win, give my best and be the best rookie.

Q:  What are your hopes and goals for this first season in F3?

A.T. : As I said before i want to learn as much as possible and of course, I want to win. That's is my goal and i'm going to fight to get it .

Q: what's your career objective ?

A.T. : To have fun, learn and than let's see what the futures holds for me.
